Hi, that’s me above getting married in Mykonos, Greece to my rock that is Natalie. I can’t say I’ve had a passion for photography since I was a child as that’s not true. I picked a camera up in 2007 and turned semi-professional in 2009 and went full time in 2011. I’m now in my fifth year as a full-time creative wedding photographer primarily based in Rugby, Warwickshire. I travel anywhere for weddings. In 2015 I’ve captured special days in Scotland, London, Sussex, Wales, Kent and the Algarve, Portugal.

Since the beginning of this path I have always pushed myself to be the best creative wedding photographer I can be. I’ve been trained by some of the worlds most respected photographic trainers which has helped me to develop my craft. F2 Freelance Photographer magazine, recently said “Neil is a dynamic & creative photographer, a rising star among Britain’s internationally respected wedding photographers, brilliantly talented and very definitely one to watch.”.

I was pleased to be recognized, it’s not like wedding photographers are a dying breed?! It made me smile.

Back in 2010 I was nominated for “Glamour & Beauty Photographer of the Year” by the SWPP, an accolade only five of us out of thousands were lucky enough to earn. I have an ambitious nature which continued my desire to become a better Creative Wedding Photographer. In 2013 I submitted and subsequently awarded the distinguished “Associateship in Weddings” through the British Institute of Professional Photography making me the second Creative Wedding Photographer in Warwickshire to achieve this status.

Later that year I had another successful submission for “Craftsman” with the Guild Of Professional Photographers making me the first member of the Guild to be awarded this in the West Midlands. My passion for the craft of professional photography was noticed and in September 2013 they invited me to join their panel to help nurture and develop photographer skills all over the UK. After regularly judging photographic competitions & mentoring new photographers in their growth, I decided to step down from the role and focus more on my own business.

My ethos is simple, quality is paramount. It’s providing you, the client, with a beautiful set of timeless images. I’m a perfectionist on every level, always striving to stay ahead while constantly reinventing my approach, style and finish.
